Let’s think long-term about the amazing place at the end of Bay Road

North Sydney Council will prepare their first plan for the Coal Loader, which includes the Genia McCaffery Centre. The YourSay survey is running until 8 December – see the announcement here.

For Waverton Precinct, the whole peninsula – Berrys Bay, Balls Head and the Coal Loader — has big management challenges as well as enormous potential as a recreational, cultural, economic and environmental asset for the region. This potential will only be realised through an imaginative community plan for the crucial Berrys Bay-Coal Loader isthmus as shown in the photograph.

For Waverton Precinct, there’s a lot to talk about, and a lot to do, over the coming months.
